What architecture variants are available for operating SAP Fiori apps and the SAP Fiori Launchpad?
There are various architecture options for operating SAP Fiori Apps and the SAP Fiori Launchpad. One of these is the cloud-based connection with the SAP Business Technology Platform and the Cloud Connector provided for this purpose. The advantage of this variant is that there is no need to provide local infrastructure. The provider can take over the maintenance of the systems.
Another option is the on-premise architecture. This allows SAP Fiori applications to be implemented and operated directly on internal systems such as SAP S/4HANA. For this purpose, a Fiori front-end server is linked to the SAP backend on the local server via Trusted RFC.
Which mobile Fiori apps can be used?
For S/4HANA customers, the SAP Fiori Reference Library provides an overview of the available Fiori apps. In many cases, there will already be a suitable app to meet your requirements, which can be used just by making a few minor adjustments.
Alternatively, Fiori apps can also be developed in-house. SAP provides special development tools and libraries as well as reference implementations for this purpose. As an SAP partner, teamative is able to advise you on development and provide expert support during implementation.
