Advisory - consulting and development of customised DevOps stacks
We offer vendor-neutral consulting and help you select and build a suitable DevOps stack. Based on your needs, we establish a customised toolchain. In doing so, we combine open-source tools with commercial products that are precisely tailored to your needs.
On the open-source side for example, we make extensive use of Jenkins/Gitlab for continuous integration, Terraform for setting up Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments, Ansible for configuration management and Kubernetes for orchestrating containers. The combination with commercial DevOps tools such as Atlassian Jira improves collaboration between teams and shortens the time-to-market of software products.
Building and sourcing teams
As experienced sourcing experts, we build completely new teams for you or realign existing teams, based on your requirements. These will either be made up from resources in Germany, through nearshoring or as a mixture of both. We identify the roles required for DevOps deployment and ensure that all experts deployed are competent and properly trained. The setup and operation of seamless DevOps processes requires expertise in many different technology areas.
A DevOps team only works if the right consultants/developers are deployed in the right positions. We make sure that skills are matched to the roles and to the technical challenges the project brings. We also promote the individuality of the people deployed, help them to achieve their potential and ensure that any language barriers and intercultural challenges are overcome.
Operations - maintenance and operation of DevOps stacks
If required, we can take care of the management and maintenance of the entire DevOps stack for you. We continuously monitor current market trends, test new tools and integrate them into processes, if they add value. In the case of automated deployment, our approach includes the deployment of CI pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions, application layouts and containerised infrastructure.
We also offer comprehensive infrastructure monitoring. This not only includes RAM and CPU monitoring. We also ensure that the software stack is actually working. We provide early alerts before certificates expire and check whether queue systems are working. We react quickly in an emergency and know exactly where we need to make an intervention.
