Im Interview mit dem Managing Director

With teamative Americas, teamative is opening its new location in the USA, strengthening its presence in North and South America. Our proven delivery and consulting model from Europe is thus coming to the Americas in a targeted way – for even closer, local support of our clients across regions. We spoke with Jakob Wittmann, Managing Director of teamative Americas, about how the company came about, what defines its leadership team and why Miami was chosen as its base.

Jakob, how did teamative Americas actually come about?  

For us, it grew out of a long-standing, trusting connection. Moritz Stingel, Managing Partner at teamative, and I have known each other since our youth – we come from a small shared hometown in southern Germany. We stayed in touch over many years: through sports, mutual circles of friends, and later professionally as well. When our paths then crossed again from a business perspective, it quickly became clear that we were working with very similar models – just in different regions. Bringing these two worlds together was a very natural step – and for me, it was the reason to join teamative and build teamative Americas together with Moritz.

What exactly do you mean by "similar models"?  

In Europe, we have already built a very strong foundation, particularly around SAP, AMS, Digital, Cloud, Data & AI, ServiceNow, and nearshore delivery from Eastern Europe. At the same time, over the years we developed a comparable model for North America and LATAM – with staffing, consulting, and nearshore delivery across the Americas. Bringing exactly these together was the logical next step for us. Many of our existing clients are already active with their own units in North and South America anyway. With teamative Americas, we enable them to work there too with a local point of contact and the same quality and reliability they know from us in Europe.

What was especially important to you when building teamative Americas?  

This was a shared concern of Moritz and mine from the very beginning: teamative Americas was not meant to become a separate story alongside teamative Germany – but rather the consistent extension of the same teamative DNA. Moritz shaped teamative over the years, and when I came on board, it was clear to both of us that we wanted to carry forward exactly this foundation, rather than placing something of our own next to it. For us, that means: long-term partnerships, technical quality, reliable delivery, and flexible delivery models – the same promise, simply in a new region.

You are one part of the Managing Direction – who else is behind teamative Americas?  

Igor Pyrizhok is based in Toronto and is responsible for Canada, North America, and LATAM delivery. He has been working in the staffing and consulting industry for over eight years and brings strong experience in client relationships, delivery teams, and enterprise support across the Americas. I myself am based in Miami and focus on the USA and LATAM, with a background in enterprise staffing, consulting services, client relationship management, and business development in the Americas. In our previous roles, Igor and I have consistently been among the top performers. This gives us a strong commercial basis to build teamative Americas sustainably and to scale our model in the region. As a team, we thus combine regional market knowledge with many years of industry experience.

And why Miami?  

Miami is a strategic location for us. As an important business hub between the USA, Latin America, and Europe, the region offers ideal conditions for nearshore, bilingual, and cross-border delivery models. This puts us right at the interface where our clients need us.
